Lakeside Woods is a 16-acre property located on Lakeside Road, just north of Warren Woods Road, in close proximity to Chikaming Open Lands' Edward and Elizabeth Leonard Wildlife Preserve. Working with Lakeside Neighbors Against Development, the acquisition of this property by COL will permanently protect valuable forest, wetlands, wildlife habitat, and open space in the Lakeside community. The new property will be named Lakeside Woods Preserve and will be open to the public for passive recreation and educational opportunities.
